Aspen/Snowmass Nordic Council
The Aspen/Snowmass Nordic Council features 48 miles of maintained trails in the Roaring Fork Valley and is the largest free maintained Nordic trail system in North America.
This cross-country site lies 12 miles from Aspen, Colorado in a high alpine basin. It features 25 miles of groomed trails that go through the ghost town of Ashcroft. The trails are surrounded by the Maroon Bells-Snowmass wilderness, and offer some of the most beautiful scenery of any cross-country site in the Rockies.
