Hot Springs in Aspen

Hot springs are a wonderful treat, and Hot Springs Pool, also known as Yampah Hot Springs, in Glenwood Springs, Colorado are great a great place to experience the springs. The Hot Springs were discovered by the Ute Indians and were long considered a sacred healing spot. In 1880, a group of British investors bought the springs and the land surrounding them and set out to build the largest hot springs pool in the world. Today, this beautiful resort does indeed boast the largest hot springs pool, and at just 40 miles north from Aspen, it’s a must-visit.
