The Aspen Music Festival runs throughout the summer in Aspen, Colorado and features world-class musicians in intimate concerts. The festival also is in the unique position of being a premier training ground for pre-professional musicians. The festival features over 350 events, including chamber music, orchestral concerts, opera, contemporary music, lectures, master classes, and children’s programs. The concerts take place in Aspen’s beautiful 2,050 seat Benedict Music Tent, the Victorian Wheeler Opera House, Harris Concert Hall, and in Churches around town. Many events are free, and lawn seating outside the tent is always free, though some events do require admission up to $80 for premier seats.
